Description: “Captain Jill Brighton and the Revelry crew plan a raid of a Central Elite transport ship, but it goes awry.”

SCENE CLIP: JILL and crew prepare to leave the ship on a heist mission. She visits AARON in his cell.

JILL: We’re going planetside for a bit. [She cocks her pistol before sliding it into her holster.] Sonny’s staying on board, so don’t try anything.

AARON: Shooting puppies today, are we?

JILL: [raises her brows] What in the hells is it you think we do when we’re planetside?

AARON: [shrugs] Stab small children? Kidnap innocent people? Blow up space stations?

JILL: No.

AARON: If you don’t tell me what you’re doing, I’m going to draw my own conclusions based on the bundle of weapons you’ve got strapped to your belt.

JILL: Not that it’s any of your business, Cescum, but this is a humanitarian mission.

AARON: Is that what they call it these days?

JILL: You heard of the green pox?

AARON: [shudders] Nope. I remember the first epidemic, though. Felt like everyone had the nasty thing.

JILL: And why are you still alive?

AARON: Parents got me vaccinated. Why?

JILL: There are hundreds of children on the outer planets who don’t have your vaccinations. They die every day.

AARON: [horrified] I didn’t know that.

JILL: Those on the central planets rarely know, or care.

AARON: I didn’t say I don’t care.

JILL: We’re hitting a pharmaceutical storage unit and pillaging their doses. We’ll sell it to the outer planets at a fair price. It’s a win-win.

AARON: That’s . . . honorable.

JILL: Don’t sound so surprised, Cescum. [She turns to go.]

AARON: Would it be out of line to wish you good luck?

JILL: I don’t need your luck.
